1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Similar
technologies — such as localStorage, sessionStorage and device
fingerprinting signals — can store or read information on your device in comparable ways. This
notice covers all of them.
2. The legal position
Under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive), as implemented in Hungary by Section 155(4) of Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications, storing or accessing information on a user's device requires prior consent — except where it is strictly necessary to provide a service that the user has explicitly requested, or solely to carry out the transmission of a communication.
Everything used on this site falls within that exemption. We therefore do not display a cookie consent banner, because there is nothing here that would lawfully require your consent.
3. What is actually used on this site
| Technology | Set by | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Turnstile widget state | Cloudflare (challenges.cloudflare.com) |
Verifies that the contact form is being submitted by a person rather than an automated script, and holds a short-lived validation token during submission. | Strictly necessary — security | Session / short-lived (expires within minutes) |
Cloudflare network security identifiers (e.g. __cf_bm, cf_clearance) |
Cloudflare | Bot management and distinguishing legitimate traffic from malicious automated requests at the network edge. These may be set only where a security challenge is triggered. | Strictly necessary — security | Up to 30 minutes (__cf_bm); up to 1 year (cf_clearance) |
None of the above is used to track you across websites, build a profile of you, or serve advertising.
4. What is not used
- No Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo or any other analytics or measurement tool.
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking pixels.
- No Facebook, LinkedIn, X or other social media tracking scripts or embedded share buttons.
- No A/B testing, session recording or heatmap tools.
- No cross-site or cross-device profiling of any kind.
5. Third-party resources loaded by this site
None. Every stylesheet, script, font and image on this website is served from our own domain. We deliberately do not load assets from public content delivery networks, because doing so would cause your browser to disclose your IP address, user agent and the page you are viewing to a third party before you had any opportunity to object.
The single exception is the Cloudflare Turnstile widget on our contact page, which is loaded from
challenges.cloudflare.com because an anti-bot check cannot function if it is served
from the site it protects. It appears only on the page containing the contact form, and is covered
by section 3 above and by section 2.2 of our Privacy Policy.
6. How to control cookies yourself
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because the technologies we use are security-related rather than functional, blocking them will not break the pages you are reading — but it may prevent the contact form from being submitted successfully, as the anti-bot check will be unable to complete.

7. Changes to this notice
If we ever introduce a technology that requires your consent, we will update this notice and implement a compliant consent mechanism that asks you before anything non-essential is stored on or read from your device.
